Opera Workshop

This class is for the ambitious young singer. We work on many aspects of solo singing, acting, stage movement and performing. Students must be very focused and motivated to improve their performance abilities, acting skills and vocal technique. This course it taught by Mrs. Franke, but students work regularly with guest teachers and para-professionals, receiving one-on-one instruction.

Open only to 10-12th graders.

There is one major performance a year – a student-created original show that is written, directed, produced, choreographed, costumed and performed by members of the class. It features Musical Theater, Operatic and Operetta repertoire.
